Get Involved
St. John's is a community of people who come
together to grow in Christian faith: the art of living well
according to the teachings of Jesus Christ. Everyone who comes to
St. John's is part of that living experience and contributes in some
way to that effort, through their prayers, volunteering, or leadership,
or just by being present on a Sunday.
People who have found that this community and way of living is of value
in their lives often choose to become members of St. John's.
Becoming a member of St. John's is a way of expressing a
commitment to our small church, to the wider diocese, and to the work
of the Episcopal Church. At a local level, members financially
support the physical upkeep of St. John's, the teaching and worship
programs, administrative and wage costs associated with full-time
Rector, and part-time director of music, parish secretary, and
custodian. Without this source of income in annual pledges and
donations St. John's could not continue to exist in it's current form.
