Outreach
St. John's is committed to improving the lives
of our neighbors in Charlestown, the greater-Boston community, and
around the world.

St. John's is collecting rice and
other food items for Harvest on Vine, a food pantry in Charlestown.
Some parishioners are volunteering to serve there.

St. John's hosts an annual Open House for the
Charlestown community.

St. John's has sponsored community
events (including "Doggie Day"), hosted debates between candidates for
local political offices, and participated in ecumenical and
community-wide forums on faith.

St. John's has sponsored and
participated actively in the Arts in Action program,
in conjunction with MissionSAFE in 2007 and 2008.
The St. John's Parish House
St. John's has opened the doors of its Parish
House to community groups, including:

- The Charlestown

- Shapenote Singers
- East Coast
