We “beat the bounds” of the parish, or at least of our parish property, on Sunday morning after the 10 am service. Children with branches and water blessed our garden areas, our sidewalks, even the foundations of our buildings, and we concluded around the outdoor altar with a prayer of thanksgiving for our beautiful space and for our gardeners who tend to it.
